LOCASH Reacts to ACM Nomination for ‘New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year’

LOCASH’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust are celebrating their first major industry award nomination as ACM Awards nominees in the New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year category.

As Country Aircheck’s No. 1 New Artist for 2016, the Reviver Records duo is fresh off their No. 1 smash single, “I Know Somebody” and their first RIAA Gold-Certified chart-topping single “I Love This Life.” “Ring On Every Finger,” LOCASH’s new sweet sentiment single that just begs to be danced to, recently premiered all over CMT channels and platforms.

“We are just so happy country radio gave us a chance and believed in us! Without them we wouldn’t be here! And thank you to all the ACM voters for the nomination, and the opportunity to have a chance to win New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year!” Chris Lucas exclaimed.

“This is incredible! THANK YOU country radio, ACMs and every voter for your heart in this journey. We have dreamt of this day for so many minutes and so many miles,” Preston Brust added.

Make sure to catch the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 2nd @ 8PM ET/PT on CBS. View the full list of nominees and our winner predictions here.
