Chris Young and Cassadee Pope are all smiles today as they received the news of their No. 1 hit, “Think of You,” being nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the upcoming 59th Annual GRAMMY® Awards airing Sunday, February 12 on CBS.

“I am so honored by this morning’s news,” says Young.  “Cassadee and I have had such a great time together with this song at radio and on tour.  Having it not only go No. 1 but also be nominated for a Grammy is really incredible!”

This accolade marks Young’s second Grammy nomination, having previously earned a nod for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for his critically acclaimed RIAA Platinum certified chart-topper “Gettin’ You Home,” and is Pope’s very first recognition.

“This moment is beyond any I could have ever imagined,” says Pope. “’Think Of You’ continues to change my life in amazing ways, and I am grateful for everyone who has believed in Chris and me. Thank you to The Recording Academy for this generous nomination!”

The RIAA Gold certified duet is Young’s eighth single to hit the top of the charts and can be found on his latest studio album, I’m Comin’ Over. The pair are rounding out the year together as they wrap the fall leg of Young’s headlining “I’m Comin’ Over Tour” this weekend with shows in Cape Girardeau, MO (Dec. 8), Moline, IL (Dec. 9) and Knoxville, TN (Dec. 10) along with Dustin Lynch. Tickets for upcoming dates may be purchased at aeglive.com and ChrisYoungCountry.com.
