America got a sweet wake up call Friday (8/19) morning, as Kelsea Ballerini performed Top 5 and soaring “Peter Pan” on Good Morning America’s 2016 Summer Concert Series.
Proving she certainly doesn’t need pixie dust to sparkle, Ballerini shined while singing her GOLD-certified stunner, followed by her hit debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” in front of the live studio audience.
In addition to the official RIAA certification of over 500,000 sales and streams in the U.S. alone, “Peter Pan” has surpassed 19 million streams on Spotify worldwide. “Peter Pan” is Ballerini’s third single to be certified GOLD off her critically acclaimed debut THE FIRST TIME following “Dibs” and the now PLATINUM-certified “Love Me Like You Mean It.”
The cinematic “Peter Pan” music video, directed by Kristin Barlowe, is nearing 12 million views on Vevo. Written by Ballerini, Jesse Lee, and Forest Glen Whitehead, the multifaceted song highlights Ballerini’s wise beyond her years maturity heard throughout THE FIRST TIME.
