Tegan Marie turned heads last Friday (July 22nd) when she made an appearance in Kansas City, Missouri.

The 12-year-old country sent the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team off to the 2016 Olympic Games with a momentous performance of the national anthem.

Taking the music world by storm, earlier this year Tegan Marie released “Lucky Me” with proceeds benefitting the kids in her hometown of Flint, MI, who were affected by the water crisis. Her soul-stirring rendition of Florida Georgia Line’s #1 hit single, “H.O.L.Y.,” racked up 14.8 million Facebook views to date and made the band take notice.

The young sensation is at it again, with her cover of Luke Bryan’s “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” nearing five million Facebook views. Her performance of the national anthem on ESPN Friday further proved her undeniable talent and her ability to sing live on a national stage.

Continuing her impressive momentum, Tegan Marie kicks off August supporting country star Hunter Hayes in Las Vegas, NV on the 6th and Farmingville, NY on the 13th. On August 27, the superstar-in-the-making will perform at the 2016 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day on August 27 in Flushing Meadows, NY.
