At Celeb Secrets Country, we’re all about introducing you to tomorrow’s next big thing, and today we think we may have found them. Meet Runaway June — a country trio signed to BBR’s Wheelhouse Records that are ready to be the next class of famous females in country music.
Runaway June features Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne all on vocals with Cooke and Wayne also on guitar and Mulholland on mandolin. The group is something we haven’t really seen in awhile, boasting fresh vocals and instrumental stylings. Runaway June just released their debut single “Lipstick” last month and its now ranked as a Top 5 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio and is available at all digital retailers and streaming services.
Earlier this month, Naomi, Hannah, and Jennifer performed on the Hard Rock Stage at the 2016 CMA Music Festival where they sang songs off their upcoming record. They even hosted a few meet and greets inside Music City Center’s Fan Fair X.
Celeb Secrets Country caught up with the girls in between their crazy schedule to talk all things music! In our interview, Naomi, Hannah, and Jennifer open up about their musical debut, their newest single “Lipstick,” and why you should listen to their music and give them a follow on social media. Later this summer, the girls will be performing at this year’s Concert for Legends to kickoff the 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame Weekend. The trio will open for music icon Tim McGraw in what will be the first event in the new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
