Steven Tyler made a special appearance on the TODAY Show Friday morning (June 24th) for an interview before performing live from Rockefeller Plaza for the Citi Concert Series.

Tyler sat down with TODAY anchor Matt Lauer to discuss his highly anticipated debut solo album. After the brief interview, Tyler performed “Cryin’” and “Piece of My Heart” for the energetic crowd as well as his new single “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere” available at digital retail partners everywhere now.

Revealing plans for his upcoming album on the The Ellen Degeneres Show last month, We’re All Somebody From Somewhere is available July 15 worldwide on Dot Records, underneath the Big Machine Label Group umbrella.

Penning 12 out of 15 tracks, Tyler also co-produced the album alongside legendary musicians/producers T Bone Burnett and Dann Huff in addition to Marti Frederikson and Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three).
