After working in concert lighting design and shining the spotlight on acts such as Sara Evans and Lee Ann Womack, up-and-coming country artist Chelsea Gill is stepping into the spotlight of her own with her original music.

Earlier this year, Gill released a self-titled EP that has been gaining her notoriety in Music City. Just last week, Chelsea performed at Jamie Lynn Spears’ fan club party during CMA Fest and received positive feedback from country music fans around town.

Her new single “Tennessee Heat” is the perfect summer tune to play when you’re with your friends any time of day. The music video captures the idea of an uncomplicated summer romance — one that you look back on and smile. With over 2,000 views and climbing, Gill has decided to donate $1 for every 10 views (up to 10,000) to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. The organization provides college grants and financial assistance to surviving children and spouses of U.S. military service members who have lost their lives as a result of their service in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars.

Celeb Secrets Country caught up with Chelsea Gill during the 2016 CMA Music Festival in Nashville to talk all things music! In our interview, Chelsea talks about her new single “Tennessee Heat,” her CMA Fest performances, and what’s next for her in the future — make sure to watch the full interview below!
