Last Tuesday night (April 26) we stopped by the A and R Bar in Columbus, OH to see country artist Kiefer Sutherland perform. Everyone on the Celeb Secrets Country team has been keeping up with Sutherland, so this was super exciting to not only see him live, but also see that the place was packed!

Currently touring the US, Sutherland said that this night was the biggest crowd  they’ve played for so far on this run. He played every song with so much soul and power. You can tell that each song had a special meaning to him just by the way it was performed. Sutherland showed a strong connection with not only his music, but also his fans.

He raised a toast to the fans and joked about how the first drink is always the worst. He might have been drinking whiskey though, because he likes it enough to sing about in “Not Enough Whiskey.”

Sutherland’s band was just as talented as the vocals the country singer supplied us with. The lead guitarist took the spotlight a few times in the set and left us in awe! He was very skilled and stole the stage with his lightning movements on the guitar.

Overall, Sutherland’s concert was a breath of fresh air for country music and for us at Celeb Secrets Country. He reminded us of the roots of country and brought them to the stage. We are excited to see where he’s going to go after this tour. We see nothing but good things for him!
